POWDER BROWS PERMANENT MAKEUP

Powder Brows is a permanent makeup to enhance your eyebrow’s natural shape; this technique makes you look younger and feel more confident. The unique high pixel machine with an acupuncture needle provides superficial pigment distribution into the skin with lightness and airiness. The Powder Brows creates the eyebrows with a 3D effect. As a result, the eyebrows look fluffy and natural without contours and lines. Every day you are beautiful! The effect lasts from 1 and up to 3 years.

The procedure is suitable for those with thin brows, unsymmetrical brows, fair or light brows, sparse brows, or just want fuller and thicker brows.

COMPLIMENTARY CONSULTATION

  • Not sure if permanent makeup is for you?
  • Afraid that you won’t like the shape or color?

Come in for a FREE consultation to know EVERYTHING about the procedure!

HOW MUCH DOES IT HURT?

  • The technique is non-traumatic, bloodless, and painless. In terms of pain, the procedure is comfortable.
  • Topical numbing cream is used before and reapplied during your treatment. This step will also help keep you as comfortable as possible.

NATURAL TECHNIQUE

Brow shape is a personal affair. My technique is very natural.  This method considers your natural brow bone and where it falls on your facial structure. The goal is to follow your natural brow shape as much as possible and enhance your natural beauty. I also take into consideration your daily brow makeup preferences and your desired shape.

PRE-CARE INSTRUCTION

  • Please check the contraindications first to ensure you are a good candidate for permanent makeup.
  • Waxing, tweezing, or tinting eyebrows should be done at least 2-3 days before the procedure, and electrolysis no less than five days before.
  • Avoid drinking alcohol two days before the procedure.
  • If you have just had Fillers or Botox done, wait 2-3 weeks before the permanent makeup procedure.
  • Four weeks prior, NO chemical peels, Retin-A around the eyebrow area.
  • On the day of your appointment, do not drink coffee.
  • Please stay home and reschedule your appointment if you have a cold, flu, or sinus/respiratory infection

ON THE DAY OF THE PROCEDURE

  •  We will have a consultation and discuss your desired brows.
  •  Your medical history will be checked to assess your suitability for the treatment. Next, you will be asked to fill out paperwork (consent form).
  •  Following the consultation, I will begin drawing the shape of your brows to build a frame so that the eyebrows look even.
  •  I always follow the natural shape of the brows to enhance the natural beauty.
  •  We will work together for the shaping, styling, and color selection of your brows.
  •  Once all is approved, we will start the PMU procedure.
  •  The appointment usually takes approximately 1.5 to 3 hours.
  •   At the end of the procedure, I will provide you with the aftercare kit and instruction.

A successful healed result depends on your aftercare.

  • You may experience minor swelling and redness after the procedure.
  • The eyebrows may appear very bright for the following 1-2 days; please do not panic. The color of the pigment will soften gradually over the healing process.
  • Keep the treated area clean and dry.
  • Do not touch, pick, peel, rub, or scratch your brows during healing. Picking or pulling off skin that is not ready to come off will cause pigment loss and pull-out deeper tissue.
  • During the healing time, you may feel some tightness or itching, especially if you have a sensitive skin type; moisturize eyebrows with a thin layer of ointment, recommended by the technician.
  • Do not use decorative cosmetics on the treated area for 10-14 days.
  • Avoid for at least two weeks: spa, jacuzzi, saunas, hot, steamy, long showers, and chlorine pools.
  • No Gym at least 5 days after treatment.
  • Do not expose the treated area to sun or tanning bed (3-4 weeks after procedure).
  • Avoid sleeping on your face; use a fresh pillowcase.
  • NO abrasive creams, sea salt, chemical peels, laser, antibiotic ointment AHA, Retinols, fillers, tweezing, tinting, or strong treatments on the treated area for 14 days.
  • The result of the first treatment will be visible after 2-6 weeks, when pigment will stabilize in the skin. Please be patient and trust the process!

2 STEP PROCESS TO SUCCESS

  • All permanent makeup procedures are multi-session processes; you need to come back for at least one touch-up visit before it can be determined that your work is complete.
  • Touch-up visits are scheduled within 30-60 days, depending on the client’s age.

ANNUAL TOUCH-UP

  • After your final touch-up, your permanent makeup should last 12 -24 months. The pigments come off gradually, dissolving evenly and without spots. I recommend that you wait 18-24 months before coming in for another touch-up.

THESE ACTIVITIES GENERALLY WILL MAKE PIGMENTS FADE FASTER

  • Tanning out in the sun a lot.
  • Use anti-aging cream, Retin-A/retinol products, acidic cleansers, and regular chemical peels.
  • I want your permanent makeup to last; please use SPF and avoid harsh products.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE.

  • TRANSMITTABLE BLOOD CONDITIONS (e.g., HIV or Hepatitis).
  • PREGNANT or NURSING Although there is no medical evidence that permanent makeup would affect an unborn child, we don’t know for sure. So, we suggest you come back after the baby is born and you are no longer nursing.
  • Patients who have EPILEPSY, HEMOPHILIA, or a HEART DISEASE should have a physician’s approval before any permanent makeup procedure.
  • ON ACCUTANE or STEROIDS Topical steroids thin the skin. Depending on your skin’s stage, it may be too fragile to undergo the procedure.
  • GLAUCOMA
  • You must be off RETIN-A or RETINOLS 7 days before the appointment and avoid or around the area for 30 days after. If used before 30 days, it can cause the pigments to fade prematurely.
  • AUTOIMMUNE DISEASE You should get clearance from your doctor before considering permanent makeup.
  • DIABETIC (TYPE 1) If you are insulin-dependent, you are not qualified for permanent makeup. Healing could be compromised and take longer than average.
  • MITRAL VALVE PROLAPSE, ARTIFICIAL HEART VALVES OR ARTIFICIAL JOINTS, or any person that requires prophylactic antibiotics before dental or other procedures will need to consult their physician for treatment before permanent makeup.
  • ON ANTICOAGULATIONS Long-term use of blood thinners results in increased bleeding and bruising, which will affect the implantation of pigment and increase the healing time.
  • BLOOD DISORDERS that affect clotting such as hemophilia, sickle cell anemia, and platelet disorders could interfere with pigment implantation.
  • HAVE ANY OTHER HEART CONDITIONS uncontrolled high blood pressure and poor general health would be a concern; you will need to see your physician and discuss the procedure before considering permanent makeup.
  • HERPES SIMPLEX People who get fever blisters or cold sores may experience an outbreak after procedures. You must consult your physician and receive proper instructions on preventing an outbreak post-procedure.
  • KELOID OR HYPERTROPHIC SCARRING Persons with tendencies for these types of scarring also have the same risk with permanent makeup.
  • If there are any BLEMISHES, PIMPLES, ACTIVE COLD SORES (HERPES), IRRITATION OF THE SKIN of any kind, MOLES, or other skin imperfections in or around the area of the procedure. I will NOT BE ABLE to make the application until the blemish or area of the concern is gone or the mole is removed and healed.
  • CHEMOTHERAPY When someone is going through chemo, they may be more at risk of bleeding or getting an infection. It would be best to get clearance from your doctor before considering permanent makeup.
  • HISTORY OF ALLERGY-RELATED ECZEMA, PSORIASIS OR ALLERGIC TO MAKEUP AND COLORS OR EASILY TRIGGER POST-INFLAMMATORY HYPERPIGMENTATION As permanent makeup can sometimes exacerbate the symptoms. It would be best to get clearance from your doctor before considering permanent makeup.
  • SCARS from surgery (injury) in or around the procedure area must be healed for at least one year before service.

IF YOU HAVE ANY MEDICAL ISSUES THAT YOU FEEL MIGHT BE A CONTRAINDICATION, PLEASE CONSULT YOUR HEALTHCARE PROVIDER BEFORE CONSIDERING PERMANENT MAKEUP.
